Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring finances the largest roof-top photovoltaic power system in France
Financed by Credit Agricole Leasing & Factoring, the largest industrial solar roof in France has just been inaugurated near Marseille (Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur). It was installed on the roof of the production plant of Meditourbe –a fertilizer producer– by renewable energy producer Cap Vert Energie.
Comprising 25,000 modules covering an area of 5.3 hectares, the 6.7 MWc photovoltaic power plant is expected to generate the power consumption equivalent of nearly 7,400 inhabitants.
Credit Agricole Leasing & Factoring, via Unifergie, its subsidiary specialised in the financing of energy projects and territories, was involved in the refinancing of the solar plant. Totalling €12M, the operation was carried out with Bpifrance -the French public investment bank- and Crédit Agricole Alpes Provence.
